AnnouncementsAnnouncements from Sunday, May 4, 2008

WE WELCOME YOU TO ALL SAINTS CHURCH We are so very glad you are here. It is our tradition to stand when singing and to sit during the readings. During prayer, you are invited to stand or kneel, whichever contributes best to your participation in worship.  Inside the prayer books, you will find blue information cards. Please fill one out & either place it in the offering plate or hand it to one of the clergy following the service. Inside each prayer book is a green card which outlines the practice of receiving the Holy Communion at All Saints.

CHILDREN IN WORSHIP – Children are gifts from God and are always welcome in worship at All Saints.  A Guide for parents and other adults, offering resources and options, can be found in the pew racks or on a display in the Narthex.

HEARING AND SIGHT AIDS AVAILABLE All Saints Church is hearing and sight handicapped sensitive. If you, or someone you know is in need of a personal amplification device or a large print or Braille Prayer Book, please make your needs known to a member of the staff.

SACRAMENT OF HEALING  During the distribution of Holy Communion a priest, when available, is stationed at a prayer desk in one of the transepts.  This ministry is available to anyone who wishes to receive laying on of hands for healing or a blessing for themselves or who wishes to share prayer with a clergy person for a person in their family in need.

LAY EUCHARISTIC VISITATION – If you are aware of a parishioner who is home-bound and would like to receive Communion on a regular basis, please call the Church office so that one of Lay Eucharistic Visitors may make a visit.

ALL SAINTS FOOD COLLECTION – All Saints collects and delivers nonperishable items to Crossroad Urban Center every week.  This time of year the food pantry supply runs low.  Please bring your donations and put them in the basket that is located by the baptismal font.
