WE WELCOME YOU TO ALL SAINTS CHURCH We are so very glad you are here. It is our tradition to stand when singing and to sit during the readings. During prayer, you are invited to stand or kneel, whichever contributes best to your participation in worship.  Inside the prayer books, you will find blue information cards. Inside each prayer book is a green card which outlines the practice of receiving the Holy Communion at All Saints.

Today’s topic explores the myth of Narcissus and how that story of transformation impacts our interior life. The group meets at 9:15 am in St. John’s Hall. No reading is required and each class stands as an independent unit.

THE ALL SAINTS BOOK GROUP meets today, 9:15 am, in the Library. The book being read is Lamb: The Gospel According to Biff, Christ’s Childhood Friend.

LENTEN MEDITATION BOOKLETS are available for your use during the season of Lent. Booklets are on the table in the parish hall and at the Information Center and will remain throughout the season of Lent. Take a booklet and add a dimension of mindfulness to your Lenten discipline this year.

STEPHEN MINISTRY INFORMATION MEETING MARCH 14 - Have you ever thought about becoming a Stephen Minister? Do you have questions about this lay caring ministry? An information meeting about Stephen Ministry will follow the 10:15 am service on March 14 in the library.

MEET THE CANDIDATES FOR BISHOP - In early May, a series of “Walk Abouts” will introduce the candidates for our next Bishop to the diocese of Utah. On May 4, from 6:30 - 9 pm, St. Mark’s Cathedral will host for the Salt Lake area. The Transition Committee asks that each parish submit an attendee count by the end of this month for planning purposes, so if you plan to attend, let Steve in the parish office know by email: salder@allsaintsslc.org or give him a call 801-581-0380.

ULSTER PROJECT - Ulster Project Utah, a program that helps children from Northern Ireland build peaceful relationships between catholics and protestants is having a fund raiser on May 12th at the Midvale Sweet Tomatoes.  Pick-up a flier from the parish hall and present it that night so that Ulster Project receives 20% of your purchase as a donation.

ALL SAINTS GUILD - Meets following the 10 am Thursday Eucharist. This week’s meeting will feature “Women in the Gospels (Luke and John)” with the Rev. Mary Janda.

HAVE YOU EVER THOUGHT ABOUT BEING A LECTOR, CHALICE BEARER, OR SUBDEACON? - All Saints has lay ministries of reading, administering communion, and assisting the presider during the liturgy.  Not only important for their practical purposes, but they also communicate in clear and symbolic ways that all baptized persons are ministers of the Gospel.  These ministries are opened to any active baptized member of the congregation.  If you would like to assist in worship contact the Rector or Associate Rector.  Some training is required and ministers serve 3-6 times per quarter.

LOST AND FOUND - Please check the “Lost and Found” basket in the parish Work Room (downstairs, across from the clergy offices). Anything left in the Lost and Found after Easter Sunday will be donated to an appropriate charity.

ONLINE DONATIONS - All Saints now makes provision for secure online donations through the parish website. Go to www.allsaintsslc.org and look in the left-hand column for the “donate” button.
