Worship Ministries
As beings created by God one of our principal missions in life is to offer praise and adoration to God.  Utilizing all our gifts in ministry we offer communal worship to God on a weekly basis.
Music—In addition to the ministry of our director of music/organist the music ministry of All Saints includes the efforts of our choir members and soloists. Through their ministries our worship is given beauty and meaning.
Acolytes—The ministry of acolyte is an essential part of our worship service and allows 23 of our young people to regularly exercise a leadership role in worship. Providing assistance to clergy, and carrying cross and torches, the acolytes are ably assisted by 3 adult supervisors.
Altar Bread Ministry—The bread which we eat every Sunday in the context of our Eucharist is not store bought, but lovingly prepared by members of our congregation.
Lectors—Lectors read the lessons at Sunday services as well as leading the congregation in the Prayers of the People. They, through their ministry, help to bring alive the Word of God and articulate the intercessions of the community gathered.

Ushers—Ushers are our first line of hospitality to both visitors and members alike. Ushers hand out bulletins, take an accurate count of attendance, help seat persons needing assistance, collect the offering, and assist in people coming forward for Holy Communion.

Chalice Bearers—Chalice Bearers assist the clergy and sub-deacon in the distribution of Holy Communion.

Sub-Deacons—Being a sub-deacon is a special ministry of providing direct assistance to the clergy person presiding at the Eucharist. Sub-deacons also fulfilling the role of chalice bearer and occasionally filling in on prayers of the people and being a lector.

Altar Guild—The altar guild provides all the “behind the scenes” support for worship services. Everything from laundering and pressing linens to polishing silver and filling candles with fuel fall under the scope of the Altar Guild.

Flower Ministry—The flower ministry makes sure that there are flowers for services and insures their proper distribution/disposal after services. This ministry takes responsibility for special floral displays at Christmas and Easter, as well as coordinating with florists for funerals.

Wedding Consultants—This ministry provides support to the bridal party throughout the preparation of their wedding. Wedding consultants assist the clergy at the wedding rehearsal and provide support on the day of the wedding.
